根据双方合作协议，由中央广播电视总台译制的阿拉伯语版中国电视剧《欢乐颂》、《北京青年》和《金太狼的幸福生活》将在总部位于迪拜的阿联酋中阿卫视播出。中央宣传部常务副部长、中央政策研究室副主任、国家电影局局长王晓晖与阿方顾问奥丽儿·卡法雅出席活动，并共同为开播仪式揭幕。中国驻迪拜总领事李凌冰，中央电视台副台长孙玉胜，中阿卫视董事长特别代表、中阿卫视副台长李晨，中阿卫视高级顾问奥萨马以及中阿媒体、各界嘉宾等一百余人也出席了活动。
中国驻迪拜总领事李凌冰、中央电视台副台长孙玉胜以及中阿卫视高级顾问奥萨马分别在仪式上致辞。李凌冰总领事在致辞中说，此次中国优秀影视剧作品成功落地迪拜，将有助于加深中阿两国人民对彼此的文化认知，增进相互了解和友谊。她表示，希望阿拉伯朋友们通过中国优秀影视剧这个窗口，看到一个更加开放、面向世界的中国，一个期待与“一带一路”沿线国家深化合作、互利共赢、共创繁荣美好未来的中国。
中央电视台副台长孙玉胜在致辞中指出，中国阿联酋战略伙伴关系近年来不断深化，中阿两国媒体开展合作，共同创办“中国剧场”栏目，在阿拉伯国家播放本土化译制的中国优秀影视剧，不仅顺应了时代要求，同时也将为加深中阿两国人民的相互了解和沟通发挥积极作用。
中阿卫视高级顾问奥萨马表示，中阿卫视与中央广播电视总台的合作，将使阿联酋和中东的电视观众欣赏到中国热播的影视节目，拉近两国民众间的距离。中国影视作品受到越来越多阿拉伯国家民众的喜爱，阿方欢迎中国文化进入阿联酋的千家万户，并衷心希望两国影视合作能结出丰硕成果！
“中国剧场”是中央广播电视总台创设的中国影视剧海外播出品牌，通过与对象国国家电视台或主流电视媒体合作，在固定时间、固定栏目——《中国剧场》专门播出使用对象国语言译配的中国优秀影视作品。
