阿联酋卫生与预防部（MoHAP）周五宣布，阿联酋新增两例新冠病毒感染病例。

目前，阿联酋新冠病毒感染病例总数达到了11人，其中3名患者现已完全康复。

这两名患者分别是34岁的菲律宾人和39岁的孟加拉人。卫生部说，他们与最近被诊断出感染新冠病毒的中国患者有过直接接触，两名患者目前健康状况稳定。

继阿联酋出现菲律宾籍，印度籍病例后，这是首次确证孟加拉籍病例。根据2019年阿联酋的人口统计，孟加拉人占阿联酋总人口的7%，低于印度人口（28%），高于菲律宾人口（6%）。孟加拉人在阿联酋主要从事劳工等体力工作，属于劳动密集型工种。

卫生部确认正在检查所有与冠状病毒患者有过直接接触的人，以确保公共健康安全，并强调疫情不会在该国爆发。

卫生部同时强调，阿联酋政府将会采取一切必要的预防措施，包括对与患者有过接触的人群进行医学检查和后续跟进。

卫生部同时敦促公众遵循必要的病毒预防措施，阅读卫生部官网发布的相关医学预防建议。

“我们建议公众采取预防措施，避免病毒的传播。（最好）用肥皂洗手，并在咳嗽或打喷嚏时遮住嘴巴，以阻止细菌和病毒的传播。”
