阿联酋法特瓦理事会在2020年12月22日的一份声明中承认，“穆斯林对Covid疫苗的清真状态越来越担忧”。
但该声明也表示，即使非清真成分是“哈拉姆”（阿语，表示“禁忌”），但在一些情况下也是允许的——因为没有替代品，而且这些物质不是食品。
