近期，中国驻阿联酋使领馆接到多位中国公民来电求助，自称轻信迪拜“高薪工作”、“网络传媒”、“游戏推广”等招募信息，贪图雇主提供的免费机票而贸然应聘，自国内来阿联酋后被强迫从事电信诈骗和网络赌博等违法犯罪活动。
相关当事人普遍反映，护照被雇主扣押，行动受限，人身安全受到严重威胁，无法正常离境回国。其中个别人员感染新冠病毒，生命健康安全受到严重威胁。
驻阿联酋使领馆已协调阿警方抓获并遣返了多名犯罪嫌疑人，将继续密切两国警务合作，加大对相关犯罪行为的打击力度。与此同时，驻阿使领馆再次提醒中国公民，疫情期间“非必要、非紧急、不出行”，务必谨慎选择来阿务工，切勿从事电信诈骗、网络赌博等违法行为。
一、中国公民来阿工作前须了解用工单位情况和工作内容。切勿轻信“高薪”、“免费机票”等许诺，应深入了解公司业务内容是否合法，多方查证辨别真伪。网络赌博、电信诈骗系触犯中阿两国法律行为，切勿以身试法。
二、在阿务工期间务必妥善保管护照等身份证件。护照为个人物品，任何公司或个人无权扣押他人护照。如护照被扣，请与雇主协商要回，无果可请律师循法律途径解决。注意留存护照资料页和签证页复印件，以备不时之需。
三、在阿务工期间请与亲友保持密切联系。及时告知亲友所在工作单位名称、地址、负责人姓名和联系方式等详细资料以及变动情况，以备亲友了解本人在阿详细情况。
四、当事人如发现自己误入电信诈骗或网络赌博团伙，请在确保人身安全前提下向当地警方报警。若发现当事人在阿失联，请当事人直系亲属直接通过电话报警，亦可委托在阿亲友或当地律师协助报警。
