周二（5.25），阿联酋卫生和预防部宣布，在进行了224002次病毒检测之后，该国单日新增1672例感染病例，感染总数为559291例。

此外，根据卫生部的通报，还有4人死亡，死亡总数为1658例；另有1630人痊愈，治愈总数为539161例。

阿联酋当局公布了有新冠疫苗接种运动的更多细节，以及民众参加现场活动的相关规则。

阿联酋国家卫生部门发言人法里达·霍萨尼博士说，将对部分人群进行评估，以确保他们是否符合接种第三剂的标准。

霍萨尼博士在周二的每周新冠疫情简报会上说，“我们确认，当务之急是呼吁人们接种疫苗……对于老年人和慢性病患者而言，这也是重要的阶段，（他们）是最脆弱的。”

同时，从6月6日起，只有接种疫苗的人群和疫苗临床试验的参与者才能参加现场活动。与会者必须出示有效期不超过48小时的阴性PCR测试结果。

此外，人们还必须遵守其他规则，如戴口罩等。

阿联酋现在已经为78.11%以上的适合接种人群接种了疫苗。此外，84.59%的老年人——60岁及以上——也已经接种了疫苗。

早些时候，霍萨尼博士曾表示，阿联酋公众今年将获得新冠疫苗的“强化”注射剂，但要到第二次注射后6至8个月才能接种（第三剂）。

她说不应该太早接种第三剂疫苗。“疫苗有效的持续时间可能不同，但预计在（接种了第二剂的）六到八个月后（接种第三剂）……大多新冠疫苗都将需要接种第三剂。”

从5月30日起，阿布扎比政府机构将允许60%的政府雇员进行线下办公。

60岁及以上的员工以及患有慢性病和免疫力受损的员工可以继续在家工作。

远程工作也适用于残疾雇员、孕妇和哺乳期妇女以及子女学龄为10年级或以下并且需要远程学习的职员。

未接种疫苗的员工必须每周接受一次测试。

2020年6月，阿布扎比政府办公室容量限制提高到50%。
