阿联酋的一位官员表示，在接种了国药集团的疫苗后，继续接种两剂辉瑞-BioNTech疫苗可能会引起一些健康风险。
国家紧急危机和灾害管理局周日表示：“我们注意到，有些人可能坚持接种比建议剂量更多的新冠疫苗，这与医生的意见相矛盾，并可能使他们面临不必要的健康风险。”

阿布扎比紧急危机和灾难委员会已批准从2021年8月20日（星期五）起，只允许接种疫苗的人进入一些公共场所。这一决定符合该酋长国的抗疫战略。
此前，阿布扎比政府表示，93%以上的目标群体都接种了疫苗。
委员会批准的第一阶段执行该规定的公共场所包括购物中心、餐馆、咖啡馆、健身房、娱乐设施和体育设施、健身俱乐部、度假村、博物馆、文化中心和主题公园，以及大学、研究所、公立和私立学校以及儿童托儿所。
委员会指出，该决定不适用于可不接种疫苗、并在Alhosn应用程序上注册过相关信息的个人，也不适用于15岁及以下的儿童。
