6月28日，谭理副总领事会见迪拜警察总局总司令迈利中将，就加强双方警务合作等问题交换意见。中国驻阿联酋使馆警务联络官及迪拜警察总局副总司令曼苏尔少将、刑侦局局长贾马尔准将等参加会见。

谭理代表李旭航总领事感谢迪拜警察总局为维护迪拜良好社会治安、服务中国侨胞所做工作，表示近一段时间，一些网络赌博公司转移至迪拜，滋生各类社会问题，对当地治安造成不良影响，希望双方加强警务执法合作，保护中国侨胞合法权益，共同维护迪拜良好的治安环境和国际声誉。

迈利表示，长期以来，旅阿中国侨民遵纪守法，勤奋上进，形象良好。阿方高度重视发展对华关系，愿同中方一道，进一步深化双边警务执法交流与合作，坚决维护在迪拜中国侨民生命与财产安全。
