近期，国际刑警与包括阿联酋在内的47个国家共同执行了一项特别任务，至少有430名人口贩运受害者从世界各地获救。

7月，为期5天的“The liberterra”行动捣毁了286个犯罪团伙，并查到了74个国家的4000个非法移民。

周一，国际刑警组织与阿联酋内政部 (MoI) 举行了一场线上新闻发布会，当局表示许多受害者需要医疗、心理和住房援助。

当局说，全球进行了大约50万次涉及人口贩运活动的交叉检查，目前已经设立了三个临时国际行动办公室，其中一个在阿布扎比，以协调特派团的活动。

内政部国际事务局负责人 Al Marzouqi 中校表示，全国打击人口贩运委员会（National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking）在根除阿联酋人口贩运方面做了大量工作，也协助国际组织执行了诸多行动。

鉴于人口贩运的跨国性质，任何国家都无法单独打击人口走私活动，跨境合作至关重要。
